Responsibilities:

YOUR ROLE:

Reporting to the Executive Pre-Contracts Manager, we are looking for a Senior Estimator to join our collaborative pre-contracts team in Osborne Park.
Key responsibilities of the role will be to work across a range of Civil Infrastructure construction projects in order to deliver timely and accurate estimates that ensure the on-going success of Whittens.
The successful candidate will provide first class estimation and contracts management capabilities as well as efficiently delivering estimates to the estimation team and developing and maintaining strong working relationships at all levels internally and externally.

YOUR ROLE:

  • Provide Estimating Processes from end-to-end
  • Prepare and price estimates in their entirety and develop detailed project budgets
  • Peer review of estimates completed by other estimators to ensure accurate pricing is prepared
  • Prepare risk and opportunity analysis prior to tendering
  • Deliver tender assumptions, clarifications, and queries
  • Prepare submission of progress, variations and claims documentation and price drawing changes
  • Administer relevant correspondence as required in conjunction with Contracts Manager
  • Identify issues affecting compliance and action to correct in conjunction with the Contracts Manager clearly communicating all risks, opportunities and tender conditions to senior management
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with the client, sub-contractors, suppliers, contractors and all other external bodies
