QUALIFICATIONS
To succeed in this role, the ideal person will have a robust understanding of working within ethics and compliance in a complex regulatory environment. Other experience and skills we are seeking include:
- A master’s degree in law, business or similar.
- Experienced professional with strong track record working within Ethics & Compliance, Legal or other adjacent function for a large multinational organisation.
- Preferably experience from Pharma, Healthcare, Biotech or relevant consultancy.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in both written and verbal English.

Curiosity and a willingness to voice opinions are essential, as you will engage in open dialogue and contribute with valuable insights. Moreover, a keen business acumen is useful, enabling you to navigate in a complex commercial landscape and make informed decisions that align with our ethics and compliance standards.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior E&C Counsel, you’ll play a pivotal role in being an E&C sparring partner, providing integral advice on both strategic and operational matters within the business area you are key account for – ranging from entering new business models and therapy areas, external requests and media inquiries, partnerships and mergers and acquisitions. Put broadly, you will have the opportunity to work within:
- Risk Identification and Mitigation: Identify potential risks, assess their impact, and develop effective mitigation strategies to uphold ethical standards and compliance requirements.
- Training and Awareness: Support the development and implementation of comprehensive training programs to elevate awareness and understanding of ethical and compliance protocols across the area.
- Communication and Collaboration: Create trusted relationships and serve as a sparring partner to the business to drive innovation, improvement and awareness of the ethics and compliance standards.
- Solutions and Problem Solving: Proactively identify, analyse, and resolve complex challenges and opportunities within the area from an E&C perspective
