The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior EUC (End-User Computing) Engineer to join our IT department. This role focuses on managing and optimizing our Windows environment, ensuring seamless integration between on-premises Active Directory and Azure AD, and leveraging Intune for device management. As a Senior EUC Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and supporting our end-user computing infrastructure, providing our team with the tools they need to excel in their roles. The role will have management responsibility for one direct report (previous management experience is not required). The role will also have Line Management for 1 direct report.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Design and Implement EUC Solutions: Develop and deploy end-user computing solutions, with a focus on Windows operating systems, to enhance productivity and security.
  • Active Directory Management: Manage and maintain on-premises Active Directory environments, including user account management, group policies, and organizational units.
  • Azure AD Integration: Oversee the integration of Azure Active Directory, ensuring seamless synchronization and access management between on-premises and cloud-based environments.
  • Intune Device Management: Implement and manage Microsoft Intune for mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM) to secure corporate data and applications.
  • Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide advanced technical support for complex issues related to end-user devices, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure that all EUC systems and processes comply with company policies and industry standards, focusing on data protection and cybersecurity.
  • Project Leadership: Lead and contribute to IT projects, including migrations, upgrades, and rollouts, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Documentation and Training: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for EUC systems and processes, and provide training to end-users and IT staff as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Microsoft certifications will be advantageous.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in EUC engineering or a similar role, with a strong focus on Windows environments and Active Directory.
  • Proficiency in managing Windows operating systems and related technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of on-premises Active Directory and Azure AD, including configuration, management, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune or similar MDM/MAM solutions.
  • Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell) to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to team success.
