SENIOR EVENT & SALES EXECUTIVE

Location: 9 Little Trinity Lane, London
Salary: £38,000 per year
Days of work: Monday – Friday (There will be an expectation to attend industry events in the evenings and weekends)
Hours: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm

PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE

  • Maintain a current and accurate knowledge of all Seasoned Events Venues / Crown Partnership products.
  • Be able to match appropriate Seasoned Events products to clients’ requirements.
  • Be able to demonstrate a full knowledge of all Seasoned Events / Crown Partnership products and effectively communicate the benefits of using these products to clients.
  • Maintain a current and accurate knowledge of competitor products.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

To achieve targeted levels of sales for Seasoned Events ODC & Merlin.

CORE DUTIES

  • To handle incoming enquires from our partner venues for catering or Merlin venues, and convert them to sales to achieve the annual sales target for Seasoned.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, agencies and anyone that will increase the levels of business to Seasoned.
  • Maintain regular contact with past clients and enquiries employing sales skills to gain more enquiries and confirmations from these clients.
  • Manage any referrals that are sent from Seasoned venues where they cannot be placed, and find the client alternative venues.
  • Establish and maintain great working relationships with our venues to encourage referrals including calling, popping in to see them and attending team-build events.
  • Ensure all conversion rates and other monthly reports are submitted at the end of each month.
  • Apply the Partnership customer journey to ensure all quotes are handled in correct time frame with chase backs to increase chances of conversion.
  • Use sales techniques and closing sales skills on the phone and face to face at meetings and site visits to gain the clients confirmation of services.
  • Produce weekly and ad hoc reports in the department.
  • Ensure Connector is being used and data is clean and up to date.
  • Undertake daily activities on social media as well as monthly ensure that all activities are achieved to deadline on the sales and marketing plan.
