THE TEAM

With 60 people within our Marketing and Front of House teams, we support on all aspects of marketing and business development across Gateley including internal and external communications, bids and sales, client development, events, digital and marketing projects. Winners of the 2020 Excellence in Sales and Marketing Award at the Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce Awards and shortlisted in the 2022 Best Marketing Campaign Award at the Managing Partners Forum Awards, the Marketing team at Gateley has more than doubled in size in five years, reflecting the investment that the business has made in attracting and retaining exceptional marketing talent.

THE PERSON

The role is suitable for those experienced event advisers/executives/producers who are looking for a role managing a varied event programme and working within a collaborative and dynamic team. Experience of working within a legal business or the professional services sector is beneficial.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

The Senior Events Producer role is responsible for the design and delivery of specific platform and business events within the Gateley events programme, including both in person and virtual.
Working within the Marketing team, you will manage and deliver a range of events in-line with business plans and budgets to create brand awareness, generate new business opportunities and support existing client relationships. You will work closely with the Central Marketing, Business Development and Corporate Communication team to ensure we deliver the best possible client event experience.
This role is critical in developing a first-rate client experience which supports all aspects of our brand values including ensuring that all aspects of each event from the content delivered to all the processes, are ‘forward thinking’ and ‘straight talking’.
You will report to the Senior Event Manager and work closely with all members of the events team as required.
You will also have line management responsibilities for a events coordinator within the team.
You will be required to be onsite for events your home office and required to travel to other offices/locations to support event delivery as and when required and as directed by the Senior Event Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End to end event management of all property platform events ensuring the highest standard is always delivered. Working with the relevant Senior New Business Manager to develop events in line with business plans.
  • Develop detailed project plans for events, including timelines, budgets, and action plans.
  • Coordinate all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection/external speakers and suppliers and internal coordination with FOH, IT and Facilities, CRM management.
  • Coordination of internal event promotion - working with the internal comms team and developing and sharing content within the business
  • Coordination of external event promotion – working with the digital team and developing invite (Concep) and promotional content (social media and web), building and managing target lists within IA
  • Stakeholder communication and management
  • Development and creation of event support materials, including the branding of virtual platforms, hard copy event packs and handouts, ensuring they bring the Gateley brand to life.
