Job Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION
You will be part of the NUS College administrative team facilitating the successful execution of Faculty events and playing the main key role in supporting research management of the teaching staff. This role combines strategic planning, project management, and research coordination.
Duties and Responsibilities
(a) Work closely with AD, Admin and Head of Administration to execute Faculty events (which include Faculty Meetings, Faculty Gatherings, Staff Retreats, NUSC Seminar Series, Faculty Wellness programmes, Research events etc). This includes coordinating all administrative, procurement and logistical support for the events.
(b) Support and advise colleagues on Research related matters including the management of university level research grants, external research grants and the NUSC Research and Academic Support funds. This includes,
- Setting up of a suitable database to track all projects for the research grants and liaising with NUS Office of the Deputy President (Research and Technology).
- Setting up of a suitable database to track and monitor the disbursement and utilisation of the NUSC Research and Academic Support funds (and other future Faculty Research funds) of teaching staff.
- Facilitating and executing Research related events such as workshops and seminars etc.
(c) Perform reception duties (if required)
(d) Work with the other administrative teams in the college on cross-functional projects when required (this includes the AUS and NUSC Summer School presently).
(e) Any other relevant duties as assigned by Head of Administration.

- A good degree with relevant experience. Candidates without any prior experience but willing to learn are welcome to apply.

- Strong planning, organizational and problem-solving skills with a positive work attitude.
- Good EQ with good written and communication skills.
- Mature, adaptive and able to interact well with all levels of stakeholders.
- Must be a team player with the ability to build collaborative working relationships with people at all levels.
- Ability to work under pressure and multi-task with different timelines and demands
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
