Description:
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will act as the Senior Executive Assistant to the Director & Chief Executive (DCE) and the Executive Director Corporate Services, handling and prioritizing urgent and sensitive matters to optimize their time. You will manage their diaries, records, and correspondence, and provide high-level reports and documentation to aid in planning and decision-making. Additionally, you will provide support to the Board and its committees by organizing meetings and maintaining governance records. Your service-driven approach and professional manner will see you build and maintain trusted relationships with Executives, managers, staff and other stakeholders, ensuring the reputation of the Office is maintained. You will organise events, coordinate the completion of reports and develop and maintain efficient processes to ensure the office runs smoothly.
What You’ll Bring
The successful candidate will be an experienced Executive Assistant with relevant tertiary qualifications in Business Administration or commensurate experience, ideally within the public sector and/or Board level. You are technically competent with high-level proficiency in Microsoft Office and ICT systems like Diligent and TRIM. You are confident in managing confidential information, planning and prioritizing tasks and event organisation. You bring a proactive approach to work, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and streamlining processes, working under pressure and under minimal supervision. A natural people-person, you have a strong history building friendly and professional relationships with a variety of stakeholders including Board members and external partners. Discretion, judgement, and strong problem-solving abilities are essential.
