Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

The Business School is seeking a full-time Senior Executive Assistant to provide a professional, efficient, and effective service to the school. You will work as part of the Executive Support Team to provide high-level, pro-active and professional administrative support to staff, whilst co-leading the Executive Support service provision. This is an excellent opportunity to join the school on a secondment basis at an exciting time, with lots of opportunities to make a real difference.
The Senior Executive Assistant supports senior members of the school, school activities and events and will need to exhibit tact, discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality. Interdependence and initiative will be required to react to changing priorities and work circumstances, with scope to make decisions within their own remit. The role holder will organise their own day-to-day workload to meet their objectives and workstream priorities. They will need expert knowledge of a range of IT systems, procurement and university processes to proactively support the school.
The role will be based in Howard House on the Clifton campus with scope for blended working in line with the schools’ guidance.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

The role holder will work closely with the fellow Senior Executive Assistant, the Executive Administration Manager, the Senior Management Team, and wider teams of Professional Services and academic staff within the school.

Key duties include:

  • Providing high-level SEA support to members of the school.
  • Organising internal and external events both online and in person.
  • Proactively seeking to improve school processes and keep resources up to date.
  • Managing local facilities and space, and operating as the local Safety Services Adviser.

Appropriately responding to enquiries from internal and external stakeholders, including staff and students, with excellent customer service.
