Description:

EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE

i. University Degree
ii. Up to four years of related experience in a similar capacity, preferably in operations or
service background
iii. Healthcare experience is a bonus

SKILLS

i. Ability to plan, organize, and execute
ii. Ability to work independently and with teams (internal and external), including with
doctors, nurses and Allied Health personnel
iii. Innovative
iv. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with good interpersonal skills
v. Possess written skills (English) and moderate oral communication and presentation skills
vi. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word). Basic data analytic skills would be
a bonus
vii. Self-driven with desire to learn and grow with the team, Department and the Hospital

Responsibilities:

1. JOB PURPOSE

To support Pre-Hospital Division in managing Emergency Department (ED), Minor Injury and
Illness Unit (MIIU) & Urgent Care Centre (UCC) Operations

2. MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Work with Senior executives, managers, and key stakeholders to support the activities in the
    following key areas:
    a. Ground Operations for ED, MIIU & UCC
    i. Develop and Review of Workflows, Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions and
    Business Continuity Plans (BCP) for the efficient running of services and excellent patient
    experience
    ii. Plan and manage Patient Service Associates (PSAs) roster and performance to support daily ED,
    MIIU & UCC Operations
    iii. Conduct orientation program for new PSAs and provide support to them as and when required
    iv. Review and formulate training program to improve PSAs competency
    v. Drive and facilitate innovation project to improve department’s Key Performance Indicator
    vi. Data extraction from various systems such as EPIC, eQMS, eFC, RTLS etc for performance
    monitoring and improvement
    vii. Review staff performance and appraise them accordingly
    vii. Manage and provide guidance to junior admin staff
    viii. Where directed by Director, Clinical Operations, to support in other WHC-related projects and
    tasks
