The Legal Executive is responsible for assisting the Legal Department on the development and administration of processes within the Legal Department, general document management and general administrative support. This role reports to the Head of Legal and the successful candidates will be based in Bukit Damansara, Kuala Lumpur.
Key Responsibilities:

  1. Managing the Hong Leong Bank Group Powers of Attorney (“PA”)
  • Preparation of all necessary correspondence and documentation in relation to requests for new and certified true copies of PAs.
  • Liaising with panel solicitors and the court to ensure the due notarization, registration and certification of PAs.
  • Ensuring that PA inventory and listing is accurate and kept up to date.
  1. Managing the Hong Leong Bank Group Vesting Orders (“VO”)
  • Preparation of all necessary correspondence and documentation in relation to requests for certified true copies of VOs.
  • Ensuring that the VO inventory and listing is accurate and kept up to date.
  1. General Administrative Duties
  • Assist to update status and performance tracking reports
  • Provide administrative support including file management (physical and electronic) and assisting with finance requirements
  • Maintaining inventory of office and pantry supplies, monitor levels and replenish stock for the department when necessary.
  1. Ad Hoc Duties
  • Other ad hoc duties include assisting Legal Managers with preparation of presentation slides, as assigned by the Head, Legal Department from time to time.

Job Requirements:

Education/Qualification

  • Malaysian citizen
  • Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree holder or equivalent.
  • 2 years and above work experience in an office administration role.

Experience & Skillsets

  • PC literate with extensive experience with Microsoft Office applications such as MS Excel and MS Powerpoint
  • Ability to master new systems and procedures
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
  • Good organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail
