Description
Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), University of the Arts Singapore, an esteemed arts institution with a global reputation seeks an administratively strong Senior/Executive Officer at the School of Music (SOM).
SOM is committed to guiding students in their paths towards musical excellence in future careers as performers, composers, educators, conductors and more.

REQUIREMENTS

You should possess a Diploma qualification in music of arts discipline, with a minimum 5 years’ industry experience.
You should be resourceful and proactive in addressing issues, possess good organisational and coordination skills, are a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
To succeed in this role, you should also be proficient in MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities:

Orchestral Management

  • Orchestral management; logistics for the performance aspects of both internal and external rehearsals/performances areas such as stage management, scheduling of ensemble rehearsals, engaging guest musicians, preparing rehearsal scores and assisting in orchestral auditions, administrative support as well as manage enquiries and correspondence with students and parents.
  • Provide support in the booking of facilities, teaching resources, general administrative duties and teaching claims, registration and processing of applications for the Chinese Graded Music Exams; Coordinate practical music exams with internal and external examiners for Chinese Music Graded Exams.

Logistics & Administration

  • Oversee instrumental loans, maintenance and the upkeeping of inventory of instrumental assets and assist with timetabling of academic classes, rehearsals and exams.

Assist students in the areas of facilities bookings/rooms arrangement, facilitate payments and provide general administrative support to different faculty studies as well as other ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Reporting Officer.
