QUALIFICATIONS
- You have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship with further training as an accountant or successfully completed a degree with a focus on finance and business administration
- You have several years of professional experience in balance sheet accounting and the preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS
- You have good knowledge of the SAP FI-GL module (experience with SAP S/4Hana desirable) and are adept at using the MS Office package, especially Excel
- You have a good command of English (written and spoken)
- Your high affinity for numbers, structured and analytical way of working and strong teamwork skills speak for themselves
- Your sense of responsibility, commitment, reliability and discretion round off your profile

Responsibilities:
- You will independently and autonomously prepare the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS
- You will be responsible for the complete and correct recording of all current business transactions and the clarification of accounting issues in accordance with HGB and IFRS
- You will post asset additions/disposals of property, plant and equipment and financial assets, including the preparation of asset schedules and depreciation simulations in accordance with HGB and IFRS
- Technical contact person for IT in the context of system maintenance, review and further development of accounting-relevant SAP processes
- You prepare the monthly advance VAT returns
- You enjoy working on projects in the area of finance and accounting
- Contact person for auditors
