REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Audit or Accounting,
  • Experience with compiling financial statements,
  • 6+ years relevant working experience in accounting or audit,
  • Strong communication and coordinating skills,
  • Highly self-motivated, pro-active and results driven,
  • Minimum C1 proficiency level in English business language,
  • Microsoft Excel intermediate proficiency level.
  • Certified Public Accountant or equivalent,
  • Enterprise Resource Planning system experience (preferably SAP),
  • Experience with US GAAP / IFRS

Responsibilities:

  • reporting to the Supervisor External Reporting EMEA. The team’s services include statutory financial reporting, Corporate Income Tax accounting and reporting, audit coordination and group reporting for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region,
  • preparation of the financial statements, audit coordination, statutory filing and tax filing,
  • translate US GAAP to local GAAP accounting principles,
  • coordinate and review activities of junior team members and service provider,
  • Corporate Income Tax accounting and reporting for group purposes,
  • prepare finance updates for the local board meetings,
  • key role in project teams to roll out strategy to expand the team’s scope,
  • participate and lead projects and initiatives to transform, optimize, standardize, and automate audit coordination and statutory, corporate income tax and group reporting, also using LEAN methodology.
