Description:

Job Description

  • Coordinate and liaise with staff and external vendors for logistics requests, bump-in setup & bump-out tear-down of event venues for internal (e.g. examinations) & external events
  • Organise and manage external resources on event setup
  • Oversee the logistics, horticulture and pest control term contractors to manage daily logistics requirements and ensure they comply and meet the KPIs set out in the contracts
  • Review quotations and create Work Orders for contractors to carry out the necessary conservancy works in adherence to standard procedures & policies
  • Plan and manage logistics, horticulture and pest control improvement projects
  • Propose and control annual horticulture and pest control budget and expenditure
  • Draft requirements and specifications for Invitation-To-Quote (ITQ) and Invitation-To-Tender (ITT) for estate related matters
  • Work with Asst Manager, Services and Operations to oversee daily school security, conservancy and lease management whenever necessary
  • Any other duties assigned by the School

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Higher NITEC with at least 5 years of relevant Estate management experience or Green Mark Accredited Professional/ Green Mark Accredited Professional (Facilities Management)
  • Experience or have worked in Sustainability and Green Initiatives work
  • Proficient in Regulatory Compliance to Workplace Safety & Health Act and/or good understanding of NEA’s Environmental Sanitation Regime protocol will be an added advantage
  • Proficiency in the use of education technology or data analytics will be an advantage
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of accuracy and good eye for detail
  • Clear and logical thinking
  • Good organisation and time management skills with ability to work independently on tight deadlines and under pressure
  • Good customer service skills with the ability to build appropriate and professional yet friendly working relationships with staff
  • This is a 2-year contract (renewable)
