QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma with five (5) years of prior industry experience, or an Associate of Arts degree with three (3) years of experience, or a Bachelor’s Degree with one (1) year of experience.
- Experience in an industrial or large utility plant environment supporting multiple large systems. Expertise in specific equipment and systems directly related to on-site facility systems is required.
- Solid understanding of utility systems and mechanical principles.
- Safety-conscious with a strong understanding of system safety controls and general industrial safety practices.
- Understanding of control systems and CMMS.
- Good oral and written communication skills with the ability to present information to a group.
- English minimum B1 level.
- Ability to draft SOPs and author PMs on equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities:
ABOUT THIS ROLE
As a Senior Facilities Technician I, you will be the go-to expert for the operation, maintenance, and repair of critical plant systems, with a key focus on HVAC and electrical systems. You’ll lead troubleshooting efforts for complex utility equipment issues and serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for one or more of our vital utility systems. In this role, you will oversee repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure seamless operations, respond swiftly to alarms in GMP areas and controlled spaces, and play a crucial part in keeping our facility running safely and efficiently.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Operate all utility systems that supply manufacturing, providing training to others as needed, and serving as a system expert.
- Maintain utility systems and respond to critical alarms. Record readings on various plant equipment systems and investigate alarm occurrences.
- Monitor utility systems through the BMS and ParCS control systems.
- Conduct regular tours of mechanical spaces to ensure no adverse events have occurred.
