Looking for a clinical fellow to help support the General Surgery Department, commencing in colorectal surgery.
The Unit is a busy tertiary referral centre with a catchment area of approximately 3.7 million in the central south coast of England. The Southampton Colorectal unit consists of 12 Consultant Surgeons (2 academic, and 10 NHS consultants).

Responsibilities:

The fellowship offers a six-months (with the possibility to extend to 12-months) attachment in a busy tertiary referral centre for pelvic floor disorders. The unit provides patients with all conservative and surgical treatments for pelvic floor dysfunction. The successful candidate will work within a large multi-disciplinary team managing complex pelvic floor dysfunction including multi-compartment disorders, abnormalities in gastrointestinal motility and complications of pelvic mesh surgery
