Datadog is seeking a Senior Field Marketing Manager for the Nordics and Benelux regions. This role reports into the Sr. Director, EMEA Marketing, based in London.
We are seeking an individual with a proven track record in field marketing, a passion for technology, and a dedication to exceeding goals—setting new standards of excellence within the field marketing domain. This candidate consistently applies a growth mindset to their multi-touch, multi-channel approach to driving key account engagement. Your strategic mindset revolves around pipeline development, focusing on how field channels contribute to the global field marketing strategy to yield high-quality leads with best-in-class conversion rates. Collaboration is your forte, as you enjoy working with sales and cross-functional teams to understand colleagues’ objectives, KPIs and insights. Your deep market knowledge enables you to be a strategic partner across the GTM organisation.
At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.
Responsibilities:
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of our products, market positioning, competition, and Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
- Utilise your strategic mindset to build, own, and execute a strategy that focuses on pipeline development for the sales team and awareness of Datadog in the Nordics and Benelux regions.
- Create regional field marketing plans utilising regional market knowledge in collaborating with the wider marketing team such as Demand gen, marketing operations and partner marketing to drive strategic planning with clear KPIs, goals, forecasts, workflows, and enablement plans.
- As a strategic partner across the GTM org, this role will keep the teams informed of the full marketing strategy, their actionable resources, and analysis on what is driving buyer interest in the region.
- Work with demand generation teams based in the US to regionalize content and optimise messaging for landing pages, email marketing, and paid ads for audience acquisition to regional events and drive engagement for digital campaigns.
- Develop and deploy field events/programs that deliver the right leads at the right time.
- Utilise your knowledge of field channels to optimise the regional field marketing strategy and evaluate the success of each program to help inform future plans and roadmaps.
- Use your solution-oriented approach and outstanding organisational skills to meet deadlines while balancing multiple projects, business partners, and priorities.
- Proactively collaborate with the partner, sponsored event, and customer event marketing teams, forging strong alliances to enhance existing programs. Integrate their events seamlessly into the overall field marketing strategy, aiming to maximise the ROI on current marketing expenditures.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and with external partners to oversee end-to-end program management.
