Description:

Due to ongoing growth and expansion, Tricel currently have a vacancy for Senior Field Technician based in Killarney. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic self starter with a technical background. The successful candidate must provide technical support to Tricel customers such as engineers, site assessors and sales agents on the Tricel product range and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have an Engineering/Construction/technical related background. The successful candidate will be required to have hands-on expertise, multitasking abilities, and strong leadership skills to contribute to the success of our projects.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical field role, preferably in Construction, Engineering, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in supervising teams and managing projects.
  • Proficiency in manual tasks and willingness to engage in hands-on work in diverse environments.
  • Strong multitasking skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet project deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Technical qualifications or certifications relevant to Construction, Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Familiarity with CAD software and technical drawings is advantageous.

Responsibilities:

The Senior Field Technician will be responsible for the following:

  • Lead and supervise Ad-hoc projects, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and tothe highest standards.
  • Act as a technical authority, providing guidance and support to field personnel oncomplex issues and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to address technicalqueries and ensure seamless communication.
  • Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills and capabilities, fostering aculture of continuous improvement.
  • Undertake manual tasks and assist with onsite activities as required, demonstratingpractical expertise and a proactive approach.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on drawing projects and technical solutions,leveraging your field experience to inform design decisions.
  • Drive key performance indicators (KPIs) within the division through proactiveengagement and leadership initiatives.
  • Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.
