QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience in finance administration or a similar role, preferably in a senior capacity.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
- Formal qualifications or progress toward qualifications in finance (e.g., CA or CPA) are highly regarded.
- Strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships with a diverse range of client representatives, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
- Effective written and oral communication skills, with the ability to handle ambiguity and complex problems.
- Proven ability to manage multiple and complex deliverables on a daily basis.
- Strategic thinking, innovation, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Very good proficiency in Excel, along with strong analytical and reporting skills (including commentary)

Responsibilities:
The Senior Finance Administrator role involves managing financial operations and administrative tasks, including internal and external financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulations, and contributing to organizational and client-specific financial goals/reporting.
Key skills required include strong analytical abilities, exceptional attention to detail, effective multitasking capabilities and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations.
Quality Control and Reporting:
- Maintaining and monitoring quality internal controls.
- Oversee daily financial administrative activities, including accounts payable and receivable, expense tracking, and bank reconciliations.
- Providing account managers with transparent insights into their clients’ P&L.
- Completing internal month-end financial reporting for designated clients.
- Preparing and sending funds requests as per the month-end calendar.
- Completing and delivering client accrual reports accurately and on time.
- Maintain financial systems and records, ensuring data integrity
- Monitor budgets and expenditures, providing variance analysis and commentaries for designated clients.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and audit requirements.
- Ensuring timely completion of operational and ad-hoc client finance reports and attending client meetings.
- Assist the Finance Manager with budget and forecast input requirements for designated clients, ensuring accuracy and alignment with financial goals.
Client and System Coordination:
- Managing client funding requests and resolving client queries promptly.
- Working with the Lease Admin Group to ensure lease audits, Rent Rolls, and file uploads are managed effectively.
Risk Management and Process Improvement:
- Ensuring adherence to quality standards and internal controls to mitigate risks.
- Identifying key control gaps and formulating actionable solutions.
- Proactively generating ideas to improve the efficiency of month-end processing.
- Driving continuous improvements in processes, systems, and staffing to enhance financial information quality and reduce inefficiencies.
Team Management and Development:
- Supervising finance administrators and training junior staff members.
- Acting as Finance Team Lead during their absence.
- Collaborating with and supporting team members to address finance-related matters efficiently.
