Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

APRA is seeking a highly motivated finance professional to join the Finance team, where you will support a significant technology & data transformation.
In this role you will be responsible for providing information, advice, and recommendations to a new program of work, working closely with project stakeholders in respect to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
This is a 2-year fixed term opportunity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working with the Program team to develop, implement, and manage program budgets and reporting structures.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the Program and be the liaison to the Programs project managers / business areas to provide clear analysis and interpretation of the Program and projects financial results and support any necessary actions to ensure agreed financial outcomes are met.
  • Monthly reporting, financial modelling, variance analysis, budgeting and forecasting, continuous process improvement and ad-hoc analysis as requested.
  • Close support and engagement with the wider Finance and Enterprise Services division.
  • Oversee the financial aspects of the Program contracts and grants, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and guidelines. Manage Program cash flow, ensuring funds are available for program activities.
  • Conduct financial risk assessments for programs and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors, ensuring accurate and compliant financial practices.
