The Finance team aims for around 2 days a week in the office to connect and on a more ad-hoc basis to attend key meetings. The role could be based at either our Bracknell or London campus depending on your preference.
- The salary range for this role is set at £46,600 - £70,000.
- This position is a permanent contract.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS YOU’LL NEED
- Accountancy qualification or nearly qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA or equivalent)
- External financial reporting experience and IFRS knowledge
- Excellent attention to detail
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified or nearly qualified accountant to join our Finance team here at the John Lewis Partnership. The role is in the Policy & External Reporting team which focuses on half-year and external reporting, critical accounting estimates and judgements, statutory reporting and supporting the application of IFRS. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in using your expertise in technical accounting to ensure compliant and accurate external financial reporting and legal entity statutory accounts. Your responsibilities will include managing external reporting processes, supporting project management for the Annual Report and Accounts, and overseeing quality control measures, as well as interaction with the external auditors.
