Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The GRS Global Expense team is looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner with strong financial knowledge and analytical skills. This role will support of the Office of Operations and be responsible for implementing common and consistent reporting tools and assisting with idea generation of new savings opportunities. This position will also be responsible for the preparation and continuous improvement of the budgeting process and expense reporting tools.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directs multiple financial functions and business planning activities for a complex supply pillar. Functions may include analysis and execution of strategic plans. Ensures that financial transactions, policies, and procedures meet the organization’s short- and long-term objectives.
- Globalized budgeting/expense reporting and analysis in direct support of the Office of Operations, specifically in support of the LII COO and LMRe COO.
- Manages the development of accurate budgets and financial plans by effective planning, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Interacts with management to explain the budget or financial planning process, identify factors impacting expenses or financial trends, highlight opportunities for improvement and create effective exhibits to explain the business plan.
- Continually assesses the business value and efficiency of the work performed, identifying, and implementing improvements.
- Developing consistent, where applicable, KPIs for efficiency tracking.
