Description:

Role: Senior Finance Business Partner
Location: Old Trafford
Hours: Monday – Friday (8.45am – 5.15pm)
Package: Up to £70,000 base + performance-related bonus
Reports to: Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Director

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner at a senior level, ideally within a global, B2B, subscription-based business.
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, with strong skills in building and managing complex financial models.
  • Experienced in the understanding of IT Systems and data integration is desirable.
  • Experienced in statistical analysis, with a keen ability to identify trends and inform strategic initiatives.
  • Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills, with experience liaising effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in subscription-based, international B2B environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities:

  • Business Partnering: Act as a strategic partner to senior leaders, enhancing their financial knowledge and identifying improvement opportunities across business functions.
  • Financial Analysis & Forecasting: Deliver comprehensive financial analysis to support divisions including Sales, Creative, Client Services, and supporting functions, utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform decision-making.
  • Planning & Budgeting: Take ownership of quarterly forecasting, annual budgets, and five-year financial plans, providing robust planning inputs and preparing Budget and Forecast reports for Board and Senior Management review.
  • Trend Identification: Analyse financial trends and communicate insights to the Board and Senior Management, enabling data-driven decision-making.
  • Monthly Reporting: Prepare and deliver monthly commercial financial reports, conducting variance analysis and performance reviews with department heads.
  • Ad Hoc Support: Provide targeted, ad hoc financial analysis to support the Finance team, Board, and Senior Management
