The Senior Finance Business Partner for Radiometer is responsible for managing the financial performance of one of our global production sites in Turku, Finland. You will work very closely with the Site Managing Director, and you will be part of the Site Management Team where you are expected to act as a finance leader both in the daily tasks and in setting the strategic direction.
As a Senior Finance Business Partner it is expected to that you will be physically present on the site. You will be responsible for reporting, forecasting, budgeting, analytics on number of KPIs, investment proposals, annual standard cost price update as well as driving selected process improvements and cost optimizations. The position plays a key role in supporting, providing advice and challenging Site Management in delivering to their best and meeting their financial and operational objectives.
This position is a part of the Financial and Planning team and reports to the Head of Global Operations Finance located in Copenhagen, Denmark. You will join a diverse team with high energy and good humor and will work closely with colleagues and stakeholders at HQ in Denmark as well as Plant Controllers situated at other manufacturing sites worldwide. THE ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB INCLUDE:
- Master degree in Finance, Controlling, Management Accounting or similar
- 5+ years of experience in Finance (including Business Finance and/or Production Finance)
- Advanced Excel and BI skills combined with a strong understanding of ERP systems (production modules a large benefit)
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and presentations skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionality and cross-culturally
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to manage large sets of data and present results in a simple manner
- Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English and Finnish
IT WOULD BE A PLUS IF YOU ALSO POSSESS PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN:
- Microsoft Dynamics, OneStream and Power Query
- Driving standard costing updates
- Driving finance and process improvements
Responsibilities:
- be a trusted advisor and Business Partner for the Site Management providing analysis and recommendations and ensure sound financial decision making
- conduct monthly business reviews and lead monthly actual reporting and forecasting process as well as annual budget process in collaboration with functional leaders including Global Operations, R&D, QA
- increase transparency of production performance and cost variances, root cause analysis especially in regard to scrap, yield, inventory provision, PPV, employee related cost, freight, other indirect production cost
- report on daily and monthly KPI for the plant including analysis on production variances and labor productivity
- drive business case assessment for the site and investment proposals (CAPEX)
- together with the business drive inventory reductions and assist in annual inventory count
- analyze, identify and track cost savings initiatives and challenge functional leaders in driving financial results
- coordinate the annual standard cost update and perform an annual impact analysis for the site
- actively participate in the standardization, development and improvement of controlling tools, guidelines and processes used in Global Operations Finance as well as be responsible for local finance compliance
- provide ad hoc analysis
