Responsibilities:
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Planning: Engage and collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and goals, and develop a strategic plan for setting up their GBS function. This includes conducting feasibility studies, assessing organizational readiness, defining scope and objectives, and creating a roadmap for implementation.
Operating Model Design: Responsible to design and develop GBS operating models that align with clients’ business strategies and objectives. This includes defining the optimal structure, governance, and service delivery model for the GBS function, and developing policies and standard operating procedures(SOPs) based on the client requirements
- Process Design and Optimization: Ability to analyze and capture clients’ As-Is processes, identify areas of improvement, and design efficient and effective end-to-end To-Be processes for the GBS function.
- Change Management: Provide change management guidance and support to clients during the GBS set-up process. This includes developing change management strategies, conducting change impact assessments, and developing communication and design develop and execute training plans to ensure smooth transition and adoption of the new GBS function.
- Best Practice Implementation: Identify and implement best practices in GBS operations, including process mining, process mapping, industry benchmarking, leading tools and technologies(such as Blackline, HighRadius etc), and innovative approaches to service delivery.
- Project Transition Management: Help lead and manage GBS set-up and process transition projects, including planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling project/transition activities. This includes managing transition risks, issues, and dependencies, tracking project progress, and reporting project status to clients and stakeholders.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted business advisor on GBS set-up and operations.
- Compliance and risk management: Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal control requirements within the GBS.
- Communication and collaboration: Facilitating effective communication and collaboration across different teams, departments, or locations within the GBS to promote knowledge sharing and drive cross-functional projects.

TO QUALIFY FOR THE ROLE, YOU MUST HAVE
- Experience and strong knowledge in finance and accounting functions in at least two domains – Record to report (RTR), Procure to pay (PTP), Order to cash (OTC)
- Strong understanding of financial reports and statements; Knowledge in Financial Consolidation
- Working knowledge of GBS / SSC setup engagements. This involves hands-on experience in business process transition assignments and related activities
- Ability to provide accounting advice and guidance on various process transition related topics
