Responsibilities:

MAIN PURPOSE

The primary focus of the role is to ensure complete, accurate and timely closing of the monthly and quarterly books for US Taoglas entities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, month-end management accounts preparation, financial reporting and oversight of local tax filings, oversight of assigned finance team members, management of accounts payable and monthly budget reviews with wider departments. This role will also require support to be provided, as needed, for group finance tasks and various operational initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Preparing monthly management packs for assigned entities including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, accounts reconciliations, P&L analytics and other information requested by Group Finance.
  • Management of accounts payable for assigned entities.
  • Responsibility for weekly cash flow forecasting for assigned entities.
  • Reviewing and assisting in the work performed by the financial accountants and AP specialists (currently based in India), including:
  • Bank reconciliations;
  • Vendor & supplier reconciliations;
  • Intercompany accounts reconciliations
  • Preparations of local sales & other tax Returns
  • Adhering to the RCF framework established and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Analysis of variances from budget with budget holders.
  • Providing support to other areas of the business where needed with regards to financial aspects of each department.
  • Liaising with the company’s auditors to ensure timely completion of all audits.
  • Liaising with the company’s tax advisors to ensure timely completion of all tax filings.
  • Oversight of preparation of annual R&D tax credit calculations where applicable.
  • Supporting the integration of an acquired company into the Group where required.
  • Oversight of assigned group finance tasks as required.
  • Involvement in ad hoc projects as required.
