ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Diploma in Business, Finance, Commerce, or Accounting; or equivalent Bachelor degree units, or practical experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical problem-solving and initiative.
  • Knowledge of accounting standards and legislation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide financial support and advice related to asset management.
  • Ensure accurate financial accounting, budgeting, and reporting for council assets.
  • Comply with organisational policies, objectives, and procedures, as well as accounting standards and legislative requirements.
  • Contribute to the financial health and success of the organisation through effective asset management.
