Council is seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Officer to provide advice and support in achieving the key objectives of the Council’s Financial Services Unit. In this role, you will ensure Council’s financial functions are maintained in compliance with legislation, manage the accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations and the end of the period reconciliations.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the timely and accurate processing of invoices and month-end tasks.
  • Control and maintain creditors and debtors master files.
  • Deliver effective customer service, including telephone, counter enquiries, and correspondence, in a courteous and professional manner.
