Description:
The Role
- Administer and coordinate all financial systems including general ledgers, internal accounts, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll, budget monitoring. • Assists in the development and implementation of the Branch accounting system to ensure compliance with IFRS. • Assist Head office and branch management regarding accounting Information required. • Developing, monitoring, and managing budgets to ensure TTT stays within financial constraints. • Monitoring sales revenue, commissions from travel bookings, and other sources of income to ensure accuracy and compliance. • Identifying ways to minimize costs while maximizing efficiency within operations. • Contributing to long-term financial strategy and planning to support the growth of the travel agency. • To make sure the Accounting Coding for every projects are accurate. • Monitor all cash disbursements, expenditures and receipts, ensuring timely, effective and accurate record keeping. • Ensure appropriate policies procedures, and processes with respect to financial transactions are followed. • Maintain and oversee banking systems (including but not limited to accounts, statements and records). • Monitors and maintains appropriate bank balances in Company accounts; reconciles general ledger accounts, Supplier ledger Accounts and Client Accounts. • Assist, support, advise with respect to financial matters, systems and processes related to TTT operations . • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to track the company’s financial health. Such reports should be sent no later than by 5th day of the subsequent month. • Coordinate and assist the external auditors during their audit fieldwork. Ensure that all audited financial statement deadlines are met per TTT’s reporting requirements and act as focal point for auditors. • Control the filing and record keeping systems of the Finance Department as required, and administer the operations of the Finance Department. • Maintain the confidentiality of TTT’s financial matters and other information and records. • Recovery from Client for ADM generated by Principal. • Supervising junior finance staff and ensuring the smooth operation of the finance department. • Review calculation of payroll including salary tax, withholding tax, rental tax etc of branches and head office. • Ensuring compliance with tax regulations, industry-specific financial laws, and other legal obligations relevant to the travel industry. • Ensure the financial transactions are reviewed and posted in Travvy (Software). • To build and maintain effective relationships with the team, colleagues, Members and external partners. • Any other activity assigned by the Manager.
Requirements
ACCA, CPA or Relevant Degree At least 5 years of experience handling finance and Accounts of Aviation, Travel & Tourism. Fluent in English Ability to analyze data. Excellent Communication Skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a Team. Advance Skills in Ms Office
