The ideal candidate is professional, flexible, responsive and adept at forging relationships and interacting positively with all levels of the organization.

  • Help to ensure that cash is recycled efficiently throughout the European group and suggest cash sweeps under the supervision of the Assistant Manager
  • Prepare and/or review financial statements under Lux GAAP (an understanding of IFRS will be relevant to support our Canadian office)
  • Review value-added tax (VAT) and corporate income tax (CIT) returns
  • Prepare ad hoc reports (interim, liquidation, NAV statements, etc.)
  • Handle requests from third parties (asset managers, lawyers, auditors, etc.) as well as our internal teams (in Edmonton and London)
  • Support transactional activities
  • Build and maintain internal dashboards
  • Proactively suggest improvements to processes
  • Embrace accountability, enhanced decision-making and integrity to deliver on our cultural commitment of Doing Business the Right Way

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

  • Business Administration, Finance, Economics or other relevant educational degree

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to work independently, with a focus on continuous improvement and drive towards operational efficiencies
  • Strong organizational skills, initiative and ability to manage conflicting deadlines
  • Analytical mind and ability to solve problems autonomously
  • Thrives when working within a small office environment

  • High confidentiality awareness is essential
  • Flexible, team player
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to AIMCo’s core values of excellence, transparency, humility, integrity and collaboration, and inspires the same in others
