Reporting to the Senior Manager of Financial Reporting, the senior financial accountant will manage the reporting of financial accounts with specific emphasis on month-end reporting.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • ACA/ACCA qualified with a minimum 2/3 years post qualification industry experience
  • Experience with SAP/CFIN or other large ERP system is a plus
  • Detail oriented and quality focused
  • Capacity to think through problems and find solutions
  • Ability to adapt to new processes with agility and enthusiasm

Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for the journals and general ledger to ensure timely completion of month end close process
  • Provide accurate month end reports to support the month end close process
  • Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet accounts
  • Manage the cash postings and maintenance of internal and external bank accounts
  • Liaise closely with other finance and tax/treasury teams to ensure all transactions are executed and recorded correctly across all group companies
  • Preparation of statutory financial statements and act as key player in the external audit process
  • Liaise with the internal and external auditors
  • Assist in ad hoc analysis and support as required.
