JOIN US AS OUR NEW SENIOR FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT!

DOF is looking for an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join our dynamic and expanding Finance team in DOF. As our new Senior Financial Accountant, you will work closely with other team members in the Finance department, Corporate and other DOF Regions around the world to shape and improve the accounting function in the DOF Group. You will be responsible for period-end tasks such as controlling, reconciliation and preparing of various external and internal reports to ensure accuracy and compliance. In addition, the role will oversee and monitor transactions from other teams such as Treasury, Payroll, Accounts Payable and Project/Vessel Cost Controlling. You will play an important role in the preparation of Annual reports, Tax returns and the development and follow-up of other team members. You will also be working with other business processes functions in a fast changing, dynamic industry - where there will be plenty of opportunity to grow, apply your knowledge, skills and experience in DOF’s core activities.

REQUIREMENTS

• University degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or similar (Experience may compensate for lack of formal education)
• A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience from similar type of role or from auditing
• Solid experience from preparation of Financial Statements and Tax Papers for large entities
• Structured, curious and proactive, with good interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical skills and capability to see and identify significant risks and issues
• Good communication skills in Norwegian and English, both orally and in writing
