Description:
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- Experience in financial accounting and reporting including experience working with large volumes of complex data, especially data reconciliation, preferably in a Museum
- Experience in the preparation of working schedules required to complete statutory reports including FBT, BAS and Payroll tax returns
- Advance Microsoft Excel skills to be able to prepare executive reports for large datasets.
- Experience in NSW Government accounting practices would be advantageous.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Appropriate tertiary qualification or relevant, equivalent professional experience.
- Membership of, or working towards membership of, a recognised Australian/International professional accounting body
Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join our Finance team. The role is responsible for the management of General Ledger operations, financial accounting and reporting, and managing insurance matters.
