Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

Become a key player in our finance team as a Senior Financial Accountant. In this role you’ll offer expert analysis and advice on complex financial matters, develop and implement financial policies, and ensure compliance with NSW Treasury reporting obligations. You’ll manage the preparation of monthly financial data for Treasury, prepare statutory financial statements, and maintain essential documentation for audits. Additionally, you’ll review General Ledger reconciliations and fixed asset registers.
Your challenges will include keeping up with the functions of Government, Treasury Circulars, and financial management legislation. Building and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders and ensuring timely financial reporting will be crucial in this dynamic role.
