Overview:
Are you an experienced Senior Financial Accountant looking for your next career opportunity? If so, this permanent opportunity on our Finance team based in Cork could be the one for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Statutory & Regulatory Reporting Team.
  • Lead the preparation and completion of the statutory accounts for the Ireland and Singapore legal entities with strict adherence to various filing deadlines.
  • Lead the completion of the annual US GAAP and Statutory audit processes, effectively managing the relationship and expectations of the external auditors.
  • Manage the implementation of any newly adopted accounting standards that impact the legal entities, both from a US GAAP and IFRS perspective.
  • Manage all tax accounting matters which include the forecasting and reporting of current tax and deferred tax provisions in the legal entities under your remit.
  • Responsible for annual tax reporting submissions as required by the PepsiCo Corporate Tax team which includes, Country by Country Reporting and Tax Reporting Packages.
  • Oversee the tax reporting requirements which includes all submissions to revenue, including VAT, VIES and Intrastat reporting
  • Ensure completion of all balance sheet reconciliations through oversight over the Blackline reconciliation tool.
  • Liaise with the General Ledger and Reporting teams at month end on items that are managed by the Regulatory Team.
  • Oversee the co-ordination of the GCS/SOX controls within the Control and Reporting Team – ensuring all quarterly control deadlines are being adhered to and results submitted on time
  • Develop, and mentor associates.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with Corporate Control and Corporate Tax.
  • Support global / sector projects that impact the regulatory team.
  • Collaborate with corporate and local tax team on Pillar 2 tax requirements.
  • Integrate ESG considerations into reporting processes, ensuring compliance with evolving ESG regulations and standards.

Qualifications:
