Responsibilities:

The Senior Financial Accountant - Revenue plays a crucial role in managing the business’s revenue function and assisting in the financial onboarding of new customers. This role is responsible for revenue and contract-related reporting to internal stakeholders.
The role delivers value through timely and correct oversight of all revenue to customers, including collection of these invoices, and liaising with CDC’s customer team and customers to ensure all customer queries are appropriately answered and addressed.

Revenue Management:

  • Manage the tenancy schedule, including rental adjustments and revenue straight lining per accounting standards.
  • Prepare and maintain reconciliation of sales contract data to the tenancy schedule and handle revenue-related queries.
  • Implement billing process improvements, prepare revenue reports, and provide insightful month-end analysis.

Billing Process for Rentals & Recoveries:

  • Ensure monthly billing runs are accurate and complete by the 1st of the month.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Manager and Customer Success to validate rent rolls, ensuring consistency with budget expectations and contracts.
  • Automate and manage the monthly recovery of electricity from clients.
  • Manage and bill for Managed Services.Maintain the aged receivables ledger and coordinate the collection of overdue debts.

General Ledge Maintenance and Month-End Accounting

  • Reconcile revenue streams for Pod Rental, Data Centre Management, Connectivity, Managed Services, and Electricity recharges.
  • Ensure business revenue accruals convert into invoiced amounts by collaborating with Financial Accountants.
  • Provide accurate billing information for annual budgets and re-forecasts.
  • Track job status and ensure profit margins in the managed services accrued revenue process.
  • Support monthly reporting with revenue balances, run rate analysis, and commentary.Assist in financial reporting system upgrade projects.
