Description:

Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant, who will be part of the Eastern Europe Accounting Team working close with the Manager with country-level and regional responsibilities and participating in various projects to drive efficiency and harmonization in EMEA.

The main responsibilities are:

  • Regional responsibility for 2-3 Entities in Europe East Global Markets
  • Regional responsibility for statutory reporting
  • Regional responsibility for tax reporting and compliance

Responsibilities:

  • US GAAP & STAT responsibility for 2-3 Entities within the region:
  • accrual
  • local taxes
  • prepaids
  • trial balance review and taking necessary action (clearings, reclasses,…)
  • any other requests related to the Entity
  • Responsible for internal and external Audit process for the same Entities
  • Daily/monthly tasks for the whole Eastern region:
  • Tax packages / statutory adjustments
  • FX revaluation
  • compliance
  • Participation in European projects & developing Eastern Accounting structure
  • Approval of Blackline reconciliations for 5 Entities in the Eastern region
  • Assistance in various Management tasks
  • Collaboration with internal Partners:European Process Team, Payroll & Benefits, Corporate Accounting & Tax, Global Project Teams, FP&A Team
  • Collaboration with external Partners:E&Y, Deloitte, PWC
  • Ad-hoc reporting and accounting tasks

Qualifications:

  • Accounting qualification / Master’s in accounting or business administration
  • Min 5 years of experience in an accounting position
  • Self-motivated and ability to use own initiative to improve existing processes
  • Strong team player with good communication skills to develop positive relationships (internal and external)
  • Agile with ability to manage across borders
  • Willing to develop in a European Organization
  • Strong English language skills, oral and written
  • Additional European languages are also an advantage
  • Experience with SAP, Blackline and Microsoft Office
