TAKE THE HELM OF OUR FINANCIAL STABILITY! AS A SENIOR FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATION OFFICER, YOU WILL BE THE CORNERSTONE OF OUR FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATION TEAM LEADER. YOUR EXPERTISE IN THE PLANNING AND CONTROL CYCLE FORMS THE BACKBONE OF OUR FINANCIAL SUCCESS.

You will immerse yourself in our systems, where you not only process data but also keep a critical eye on internal processes. Duplicate payments? Unauthorized transactions? You’re on top of it. Your contribution to the balance sheet and the annual financial statements for the audit is invaluable.
It is your responsibility to monitor the accounts receivable administration and assist with important tasks such as payment batches and VAT returns. With your expertise, you ensure accurate monthly cost recording, which is essential for our reporting.
You will work not for one, but four entities, ensuring smooth administration together with other senior officers. Providing proactive advice is second nature to you. Your understanding of both the primary process and the priorities of the Financial Administration makes you a convincing representative of both perspectives.
In our organization, the Planning & Control cycle is central, and you are the driving force behind various tasks. In this role, you will have a great deal of responsibility and independence. Depending on your experience, we offer a competitive salary ranging from a minimum of €2,932 to a maximum of €4,001 for a full workweek of 36 hours according to the CAO Wageningen Research (scale 8). Initially, we will offer you a one-year contract, which can be extended to a permanent contract upon mutual enthusiasm. Of course, we are happy to discuss any questions you may have.

We are recruiting for this vacancy ourselves. Acquisition is not appreciated, but sharing within your network is. You:

  • hold an HBO degree or equivalent, supplemented with at least 3 years of experience in complex (project) administration;
  • have knowledge of internal/external laws and regulations;
  • possess good communication skills in both Dutch and English.

If you are also familiar with Business World, that’s a plus. Accurate, proactive, collaborative, solution-oriented, and customer-focused, these are words that describe you.
In our international working environment, communication is increasingly conducted in English. For this position, the required language level is B2. If you haven’t reached this level yet, we will support you through our language center Wageningen in’to Language.
