Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst based out of Mesa, AZ to support the international E-7 Development Programs.
This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-paced team working to deliver three new E-7 Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) aircraft to the UK Ministry of Defense (MOD) and aircrafts for the Republic of Korea.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • 5+ years of experience in a finance related position such as Financial Operations, Accounting, Estimating, or Financial Planning
  • 3+ years of experience developing and managing baselines and Estimates at Complete (EAC)
  • Experience in Excel (i.e. formulas, pivot tables, linking worksheets)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Experience with Cost Schedule Planning and Reporting (CSPR)
  • Experience working across multiple functions including finance, engineering and operations

TYPICAL EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years’ related work experience, 14 years’ related work experience, etc.).

Responsibilities:

  • Initiates assignments and leads integration and analysis of resource forecasts and/or Estimates at Completion (EACs) for control accounts, budgets, functions or pools; financial EACs for contracts or programs
  • Develops performance reports
  • Initiates assignments and leads integration of variance analyses and provides understanding of operational and financial performance to senior management
  • Makes recommendations to senior management on financial performance projections using financial and business knowledge and experience
  • Develops, reviews, analyzes and maintains cost and/or schedule performance measurement baselines, including earned value, and variance analyses and communicates cost and/or schedule trends
  • Provides subject matter expertise to troubleshoot process and tool issues, determine root cause and recommend solutions
