Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Enterprise Finance Advisor located in London, Greater London UK through June 01, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time).
Position Overview:
This posting is for the Enterprise Finance London Team. This team provides Finance and Treasury support on commercial activities and transactions partnering with the business to grow and protect value.
The London team provides primary support for the International Upstream region and some business units as well as Midstream and Downstream Europe.

Key Job Responsibilities for this position:

  • Partner with the business to provide value-added advice; support major commercial and financial transactions including acquisitions, divestments, joint venture formation & management; negotiate financing terms and conditions to optimize exposure and reduce cost; and ensure cash availability when and where needed at the lowest cost. Enable and support strategic business activities by providing high-quality advice and expertise on financial, economic, risk management, and decision support.
  • Take direction from General Manager and act as primary point of contact for assigned portfolio activities and transactions.
  • Fulfil functional priorities to Partner and Protect while doing so Better, Faster. Role requires review of items requiring Finance and Treasury concurrences under Policy 190 C.

Required Qualifications:

  • With 8-10 years Finance experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preference for following disciplines: Finance, Accounting, or Economics
  • Treasury: can apply finance and economic principles and analytical tools to assess value and risk characteristics of business alternatives, investment opportunities and financing proposals; familiar with investment guidelines and principles and corporate and Treasury policies; can distil complex topics into concise communications tailored to cross-functional audiences.
  • Project Management & Organizational Fluency: demonstrated ability to manage multiple project assignments, leading Finance / Treasury work streams on cross-functional project teams; enlist required resources across global Finance function to meet project objectives.
  • Critical/Analytic Thinking: ability to synthesize diverse information in complex and ambiguous situations distilling key risk and return considerations underpinning financing and business decisions and to drive better outcomes by creatively proposing alternatives that navigate diverse interests with internal and external parties.
  • Build Relationships - Work Across Boundaries: Take a collaborative approach to achieve results by developing shared goals, breaking down silos, expanding networks. Self-starter who works collaboratively with teammates to drive outcomes that benefit the Enterprise through fostering positive relationships, strong teamwork, and inclusive collaboration.
