What We Need
Corpay is looking to hire a Senior Financial Analyst within our Accounting and Finance division. This position falls under our Corpay Cross Border line of business, located at 212 King Street West, Toronto ON. In this role, you will be responsible for monthly and quarterly revenue & expense reporting, quarterly analysis for board presentations and earnings calls, annual budgeting/quarterly forecasting process, local line of business support, and ad-hoc analysis. You will report directly to the Manager FP&A and regularly collaborate within the team as well as with cross-functional team(s)/department(s).
The salary range rate for this position is $85,000 to $90,000 CAD.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the preparation of the annual budget and monthly financial forecasts.
  • Developing efficient processes to consolidate budget submissions and assist with presentations to senior management.
  • Reviewing monthly consolidated results and prepare relevant analysis.
  • Performing variance analysis, monthly and quarterly packages with detailed commentary for department leaders.
  • Preparing monthly global management reports and standard reports.
  • Assisting in preparing monthly Executive leadership material.
  • Synthesizing substantial amounts of complex data from multiple sources, extrapolating appropriate information, and developing concise and easy-to-understand explanations of business results, opportunities, and recommendations for senior-level stakeholders.
  • Analyzing input received from both internal and external sources and develop key operating metrics and trends.
  • Assisting with the development of ad hoc reports and identifying opportunities to improve processes.
  • Ability to effectively work under pressure, managing multiple and changing priorities.
  • Demonstrating logic and creative approach to problem-solving.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Post-secondary education and/or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years of relevant and progressive experience in finance, ideally in financial planning & analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree, CPA/or MBA preferred.
  • Experience with multiple currency reporting.
  • Accounting knowledge; Journal entries/Account reconciliations.
  • Work well and manage a high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Advanced MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using Tableau, PowerBI, and other tools.
