DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW

The primary responsibilities of this role are related to the global financial planning and reporting processes, including annual and long-term plans and projections and monthly/quarterly reporting. This role requires thought leadership across process and reporting design, strong collaboration with Business Unit Leaders, Operations Finance, Treasury, Tax, and Accounting teams, among others, and the ability to challenge the status quo and drive change as necessary.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • This individual should have excellent analytical skills, have displayed an ability to collaborate with others outside of their immediate team, be able to influence and drive change, adapt quickly to changing needs in a fluid environment, while displaying a strong commitment to deliver results within required timelines.
  • High level of commercial and financial acumen with the ability to formulate and clearly communicate analysis, insight, and recommendations for future strategies
  • Requires expert MS Excel skills along with PowerPoint; SAP and Workday Adaptive Insights experience are a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and management skills are essential.
  • These skills are normally acquired through completion of bachelor’s degree in accounting or a business field in addition to an MBA/CPA/CMA with 2-4 or more years in a finance role.

Responsibilities:

  • Support all Corporate FP&A activities, including the annual budget process, monthly forecasting, preparation of monthly and quarterly review presentations, and specific analysis on various areas of the business.
  • Support all relevant Planning/Forecasting activities related to CapEx including the preparation of all global plans/forecasts and presentations to Executive Leadership.
  • Assist in preparation of presentations to the Strategic Resource Allocation Committee monthly in terms of actual and forecasted project spend, as well as ensuring the SRAC committee is provided with adequate information to make informed decisions on optimal capital allocation.
  • Act as a resource for global teams supporting preparation of financial models for investments to ensure business cases are prepared accurately and in-line with Perrigo best-practice and that complete and accurate information is being presented to the SRAC committee for approval consideration.
  • Responsibility for Global Capital spend analysis – develop, maintain and ensure standard templates/analysis are used and projects are evaluated using consistent metrics and preparation of all global capital spend analysis.
  • Ownership of the ongoing design and maintenance of Investment Financial Model Templates used in the capital allocation process.
  • Assist with other corporate FP&A responsibilities, including forecasting the corporate balance sheet through including collaboration with Treasury and SEC reporting and the forecasting of the components of the P&L between operating income and net income, including being the liaison with the Treasury and Tax teams to ensure alignment on the forecast for interest and other.
