Description:
Responsibilities:
- Timely and accurate recording and reporting of revenue to enhance opportunities for revenue enhancement and recording of bad debt expense.
- Support Accounting Manager in developing and maintaining a financial model for revenue optimization.
- Collaborate with Operations in providing support for current tenant arrears process and identify opportunities for training the site staff.
- Prepare compliance reports to City managers and Provincial stakeholders; respond to the inquiries as needed.
- Complete monthly analysis on vacancies and work closely with Operations to complete analysis pertaining to vacancies.
- Assist in preparation and review of materials for Board and BIFAC pertaining to revenue and arrears
- Periodic review, analysis, and recommendation for writing off AR balances.
- Prepare rent roll reconciliation to ensure rent charges are correct and follow up with Operations staff to rectify the issues to minimize revenue loss.
- Assist in the development of annual operating budget and in year forecast for areas of responsibility.
- Monitoring of tenant annual Income reviews
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for business improvement and cost optimization.
- Challenge the status quo and recommend innovative ways to improve process efficiency and quality.
- Support special projects, reports, and analysis, as well as ad hoc requests as needed.
- Perform City subsidy funding sensitivity analysis; prepare reconciliation and maintain subsidy trending report
- Review annual market rent increase table and business process; work with Operations to ensure the accuracy; identify the opportunity to maximize revenue.
- Review former tenant arrears report and perform regular reconciliation with Collection agency inventory.
