ScionHealth is recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team! This position will be hybrid and based in our Louisville Corporate Support Center.

JOB SUMMARY

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in preparing, interpreting, and presenting comprehensive reports and analysis for internal and external stakeholders. Your focus will be on optimizing the business development segment, encompassing targeting strategies, goal setting, strategic planning, training initiatives, bonus payment structures, and the implementation of reporting tools to drive informed decision-making.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of five years in related analytics or business field; management experience preferred.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES/EXPECTATIONS

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.)
  • Accounting, financial analysis, and budgeting knowledge.
  • Knowledge of relational database concepts and reporting packages a plus.
  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as SAP Analytics Cloud, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau a plus.
  • Healthcare industry experience a plus.
  • Approximate percentage of time required to travel: 10%
  • Depending on a candidate’s qualifications, this role may be filled at a different level.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of targets and manage tracking and reporting.
  • Analyze variances between actual results and budget/targets and/or prior periods.
  • Build and maintain standardized reporting across multiple applications.
  • Create, distribute, and maintain tools and analyses to advance operational initiatives.
  • Contribute to monthly and quarterly operating review presentations, as well as the annual budget presentation.
  • Coordinate with Business Development and Managed Care teams to prepare outward-facing presentations.
  • Facilitate communication between executive leadership and field operations.
  • Work on special projects as needed.
