The Group Finance team at CatalystOne is evolving and expanding. Currently, our team consists of the CFO, Head of Group Accounting, and Contract Manager. Our accounting operations are managed in-house in Norway through our Accountant Manager, while they are outsourced in Sweden and Denmark. Salary management is outsourced across all three countries. As part of our growth, we will be adding a Business Controller and more finance professionals soon.
As a Senior Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our finance organization, routines, and processes. We have made significant strides, but we are always looking for ways to innovate and improve. This role requires someone who can balance strategic vision with operational excellence, working independently yet collaboratively across departments. You will report to the Head of Group Accounting and have direct access to the CFO.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Educational Background: Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or similar
• Experience: We’re looking for candidates with 3-5 years in Auditing / Financial Advisory services and 2-3 years as a Group Financial Controller or similar. Candidates should also have experience and knowledge of IFRS and general accounting principles.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, ERP and consolidation tools ++
• Language Skills: Fluency in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.

• Reporting: Deliver insights and reports to the Executive Management Team and the Board including quality assurance of financial figures.
• Month-end closing: Follow-up of financial reporting from subsidiaries and participate in the month-end closing of group-related activities.
• IFRS: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and IFRS requirements.
• Mergers & Acquisitions: Participate in M&A activities and the integration of new companies.
• Transfer Pricing: Responsible for maintaining TP policies and documentation in the Group.
• Process Improvement: Take part in improving internal control routines and processes.
• Financial Planning: Participate in budgeting, forecasting and cash management
• Ad Hoc Projects: Take on various projects as needed to support the company and finance team’s objectives.
