Job Description:
The Senior Financial Data Analyst is responsible for performing a variety of analysis activities and generate reports/visualizations that provide actionable insights. This role requires strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills with the ability to create easy-to-use dashboards and reporting financial information in a clear, concise manner. The Senior Financial Data Analyst role offers an interesting variety of projects and ample opportunity for professional growth and development.
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or Business Administration
Experience: 3-7 years of experience in Data Analytics or Accounting/Finance related role
Systems: Advanced MS Excel user, proficient in Microsoft applications. Experience with Oracle, Tableau or similar BI systems. Experience with BOARD, Snowflake, or Google Suites is desired but not required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build reporting and dashboards using Tableau to help drive business decisions in the areas of sales, production, and performance across the companies of Cambria
  • Compile and analyze data from multiple sources to answer business questions and seek out additional opportunities to inform and improve performance analytics
  • Work with Finance team leaders to analyze and explain departmental financial results, prepare financial analysis to support departmental objectives, and communicate key trends and issues
  • Technical proficiency regarding database design development, data models, techniques for data mining, and segmentation
  • Serve as a reporting subject matter expert to other functional teams outside of the Finance department
  • Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasting activities
  • Conduct various ad hoc analyses and special projects to support management decision making

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills including the ability to handle large volumes of data, understand process flow, gather information, analyze, problem solve, link financial results to operational performance drivers and find efficient and accurate ways to complete tasks
  • Demonstrated decision making and critical thinking
  • Experience with data collection and visual presentation, translating information in a summarized fashion
  • Must possess strong attention to detail with ability to execute against deadlines
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple and competing priorities
  • Takes initiative and is proactive in addressing issues
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain relationships with levels of management
  • Ability to work independently in a pro-active manner, or within a team environment
  • Thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
