The Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager is responsible for leading the financial forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning efforts for Econolite Group and its business entities. This role will provide financial insights, drive business performance, and provide customers and leadership with data-driven decision-making support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial modeling, forecasting, variance analysis and understand of the business, its products and the marketplace.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive FP&A experience, including leadership roles; experience in a Fortune 500 company or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry preferred.
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Experience with FP&A software such as Adaptive Planning, SAP, Oracle NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex financial data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of presenting financial data clearly to senior executives and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple business stakeholders and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience leading and mentoring teams, fostering a culture of accountability and growth.
  • High attention to detail, strong project management skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, execution, and management of the annual operating and capital planning process, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools to track key financial performance indicators and business metrics.
  • Lead financial discussions, leveraging data to prepare and present financial reporting such as variance analysis against budget, prior periods, and forecasts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Project Accounting and the GTM departments to provide deal analysis and profitability for decision support
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across financial statements, reports, and reconciliation processes.
  • Support Investor Relations by providing insights into financial performance, key performance indicators, and business trends.
  • Drive process improvements and implement best practices to enhance FP&A efficiencies and reporting capabilities.
  • Mentor and develop FP&A team members, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
  • Communicate financial insights and planning changes effectively to executive leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment with business goals.
