Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the month/ quarter and year end financial closes;
  • Identifies and generates financial status reports (monthly) by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts, and budgets; discusses variance analysis to budgets/forecasts;
  • Prepare various reports and provide analysis of variances for key operative parameters;
  • Serve as a key resource in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts and support managers throughout the budget & forecast process (both OPEX and CAPEX);
  • Participate as a key role in cost saving opportunities;
  • Prepare reports to assist management in understanding departmental costs;
  • Assist with economic justifications for capital expenditures as required and ensure appropriate documentation and filing of the Authority for Expenditure (AFE) reporting sheets;
  • Identify and track key performance metrics for capital expenditures and participate in long and short range financial planning for capital expenditures
