Description:
Our Finance Global Shared Service Centre based on the CSL Seqirus site in Liverpool (Speke) supports our 3 main businesses: CSL Behring, CSL Seqirus and CSL Vifor globally and is expanding. As part of this growth we are looking to hire a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant .
This is a new role resulting from CSL’s new Operating Model and the establishment of a Global Accounting Operations Team.
The role is part of the Account to Report team and is responsible for Financial Accounting for one or more Entity to deliver accurate and timely execution of Financial Accounting activities.
This role will perform complex transactions and statutory reporting across the set of entity codes. It also includes support for projects and continuous improvement and liaising with Finance Business Partners for escalations.

Qualifications :
- Qualified Accountant
- 5 years’ relevant experience in a multi-national company
- Knowledge of GAAP and AIFRS
- Background in audit or lead participation role in statutory audits
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- The position also requires the ability to build and maintain sound relationships and collaborate effectively with multiple levels and cross functionally with Finance Business Partners and various Finance Centres of Excellenc
Responsibilities:
For entities within the senior reporting accountants lead responsibilities will include but are not limited to;
- Owns all statutory reporting process, including year end and half year audit leasing with group and local audit teams
- Owns month end close process; reconciles accounts, posts journal entries and maintains accurate general ledger with key focus given to balance sheet and inter-company accounts
- Supports accounts assistants in day to day operations providing guidance and support where required
- Owns quarterly forecast and yearly budget submissions, reconciling planning tool through to consolidation tool, planning for the balance sheet and cashflow
- Supports the business in the financial transacting of data within the ERP system
Qualifications :

This role i s based out of our Financial Shared Service Centre, Speke, Liverpool.
Hybrid role: Office based Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
