GENERAL SUMMARY

The role of Senior Financial Reporting Accounting Manager is a newly developed position and will report directly to the Finance Director. The role holder will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely annual financial results for multiple legal entities within the Celeros Flow Technology portfolio and be the point of contact for all interim and year end audits. Moreover, the successful individual will be expected to continuously assess the financial controls and processes, ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements and lead improvement projects where necessary.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Strong understanding of financial standards IFRS / UK GAAP / US GAAP and technical accounting knowledge
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical and communication skills required
  • Strong business and financial understanding with the ability to analyze financial statements
  • Energetic individual with a clear sense of urgency
  • Ability to work well under deadlines and to deliver results on time
  • Self-starting with good organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented matrix environment that is fast-paced and demanding

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Hold an accountancy qualification (ICAS/ACCA/ICAEW or equivalent) with a minimum of 2-3 years post-qualification experience
  • Proven track record in a financial environment, with experience managing interim and year-end audits
  • Experience in the consolidation of Group financial reporting
  • Collaboration with advisers including external auditors, legal and tax advisers

Responsibilities:

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and submit statutory accounts for all UK subsidiaries and holding companies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS & UK GAAP
  • Lead all external interim and year end audit activity, working closely with auditors and internal stakeholders
  • Manage assigned areas of the month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes
  • Support the development of part-qualified team members
  • Ensure compliance with UK statutory regulations, HMRC guidelines, and industry standards
  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement changes in methods and procedures to improve the efficiency of the accounting function in a continuous improvement environment
  • Assist Finance leadership with special projects as required
